St Columba CCAP

St. Columba CCAP is a Christ centered Church in Blantyre Synod with a
population of 5,000 members located in Njamba near Njamba Freedom Park in
Blantyre.

The Church is looking for persons with relevant education background,
experience and interpersonal skills to fill the above-mentioned post.

DUTIES*>
• Preparation of payment requisitions and vouchers
• Writing of cheques to suppliers
• Issuing of receipts for funds received
• Reconciliation of accounts receivable statements
• Preparations of monthly tax returns such as PAYEE and Withholding Tax
• Archiving of accounting records
• Preparation of audit schedules
• Carrying out physical verification of Congregation Inventory
• Processing of school fees invoices in Sage Evolution system and preparation
of school fees debtors report
• Reconciliation of staff debtors
• Preparation of supplier reconciliations
• Any other duties as delegation by the Accountant

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*>
• Diploma in Accounting with two (2) years work experience
• Computer literacy is a must
• Be able to work within strict deadlines
• Self-starter and have analytical skills
• Knowledge of CCAP operations will be an added advantage
• Age between 25-35
