1. PHARMACY MANAGER

Grade*> CM3
Reports to*> Director of Business and Development

Purpose of the Job*>
Providing leadership and management in the provision of pharmacy services in
CHAM including management of drugs and supply chain.
*>
Key Responsibilities & Duties

> Coordinating planning and Management of drugs and medical supplies in CHAM’s Drug Revolving Fund.
> Coordinating procurement and distribution of pharmaceutical products in CHAM.
> Taking responsibility for quantification of drugs, maintenance of drug warehouse and drug revolving fund.
> Mobilising resources for training of Pharmacy Technicians.
> Establishing and managing Drug Service Organisation.
> Marketing CHAM drug revolving fund.
> Assisting CHAM facilities reduce drug wastage and leakage.
> Supervising pharmacy activities in Health facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

> Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
> Master’s Degree in supply chain management or Business Administration or Pharmaceutical.
> Five years’ experience in drug and supply chain management
> Previous experience in resource mobilization and managing disbursement
> Active registration with Pharmacy Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA)

Requisite Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

> Ability to work in a fast paced environment
> Results oriented and good report writing skills
> Excellent communication and analytical skills
> Team player and ability to work in a diverse group
> Well organized with a proven ability to multitask, and pay attention to detail
> Knowledgeable on drug forecasting, quantification and drug supply chain management
> Skills in Pharmaceutical quality assurance
> Excellent computer skills in MS Office, Cs-pro and other relevant supply chain management packages.
