POSITION GENDER OFFICER (1 POST)
Islamic Relief Worldwide ORM is a UK based International humanitarian and
development organization working in 40 countries.
Islamic Relief Malawi is looking for competent candidates to fill the
following position
POSITION GENDER OFFICER (1 POST)
(Blantyre Field based).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Provide technical support to project teams on gender and protection
issuesImplement participatory and community-based gender strategies/activities
(trainings, awareness,)
•Assist in project quality monitoring and reporting as well as documentation
(case studies, etc.. )
•Develop and maintain effective relationship with project stakeholders (e.g.
networking).
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
•University degree in Gender, Development studies, Social Work or related
field
•Good knowledge on gender policies both nationally and internationally
•Minimum (2) years’ experience, with NGOs in gender and protection
mainstreaming/integration.
