Malawi Institute of Tourism (MIT) is a leading Tourism and Hospitality
training and educational Institution in Malawi. The Institute also runs three
application hotels namely Alendo Hotel in Blantyre, Lingadzi Inn in Lilongwe,
and Mzuzu Lodge in Mzuzu.
Applications are invited for suitably qualified candidates who are self driven
and have high integrity to fill the following position in the Training
department and hotels of the Institute.
Receptionist Grade M10*>
The job purpose is to provide front office services at the MIT hotels, by
checking guests in and out, taking bookings, invoicing customers and
receipting cash, handling guest queries.
The candidate shall be reporting to the Front Office Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience*>
Diploma in Hospitality Management and holding a Certificate in Front Office
Operations with three years work experience at a busy hotel may also be
considered.
Remuneration*>
Remuneration will be based on the Institutes’ Terms and Conditions of Service.
