VACANCIES
ZOMBA DISTRICT COUNCIL
Zomba District Council with support from the American people through US Agency
for International Development (USAID), will over the Course of three years,
implement critical health and social welfare activities at the district level
and contribute to the improvement of HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health
(MCH), Family Planning (FP), Nutrition and Social Welfare service celivery in
Zomba district. To achieve the intended objectives of the government to
government agreement, Zomba District Council intends to hire additional Health
Care and Support Staff workers.
The Council therefore invites suitably qualified Malawians to fill the
following vacant positions existing in Zomba
Post Driver (Grade N)
Salary Within Grade N salary scale segment
Age limit Not older than 40 years
Qualification
Applicants must be non-serving officers in possession of Malawi School
Certificate of Education (MSCE) and a Class Cl Driving Licence. Those with
Defensive Driving Certificate will have an added advantage.
Duties
1\. Driver passengers vehicle
2\. Provide assistance to patient that require level of care
3\. To keep the vehicle clean at all times
4\. Maintain vehicle records
5\. Ensure vehicle safety at ail times
6\. Carry out vehicle maintenance checks
7\. Updating mileage records all the time
Skills
1\. Defensive driving skills
2\. Communication skills
3\. Judgement and decision making skills
4\. Excellent time management skills
Employment Terms
Successful candidates should be willing to be deployed in rural health
facilities
