ONE STEP FOUNDATION (ONESFO)-VACANCIES
One Step Foundation is a Charity organization that works with the children,
families and communities to reduce the number of children going to the
streets. Our mission is to eradicate all street connected children in the
street and economically empower their families living in total poverty so that
they can have access to essential needs.
One Step Foundation is inviting applications from dedicated professional
volunteers to fill the vacant positions existing in the organization.
Position Accounts Assistant 2 (Lilongwe & Blantyre)
Reporting to Finance officer/Planning Project Manager
Responsibilities
Preparing payment vouchers
Calculating and checking to make sure payments amounts and records are
correct. Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily accounts post Managing
petty cash transactions.
Controlling credit and chasing debt.
Working with spreadsheets
Ensure supporting documents are complete before making any payment
Prepare checks and make payments record petty cash and check payment
transactions
Scan and upload all finance documents
Any other duties assigned
Qualifications
A Diploma in accounting and any other related qualifications obtained from a
recognized and accredited institution. along with an MSCE.
Skills
Knowledge in accounting
Should be able to produce financial statements
Knowledge in cost and budgetary control
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Must possess high level of integrity, honesty, maturity and commitment towards
work
