The Role*>
Oxfam in Malawi is looking for a results-oriented Malawian to take up a
Programme Coordinator position – Her Future Her Choice program to be based in
Lilongwe. Under the supervision of the Transformative Women Leadership
Programme Manager the incumbent will oversee and manage all aspects of HCHF
including project planning and implementation;
Monitoring and Evaluation, budget management in liaison with partners and
Oxfam internal staff.
Applicants should at least possess a minimum of
> A Master’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Development Studies, Sociology, or related areas with experience working on Youth SRH issues;
> 5+ years of experience in development work, preferably within a large development or humanitarian organisation;
> Knowledge in gender issues;
> Project management skills and drive to achieve results, to ensure timely delivery of activities;
> Knowledge and experience of working with partners and multi-country teams; and
> Experience working on advocacy issues.
