## Job Description
The Maryland Global Initiatives Corporation (MGIC) is a nonprofit affiliate of
the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) through which UMB administers its
international programs. MGIC is seeking proposals for this competitive
solicitation for internal insurance assessment and advisory services to
mitigate risk across our international portfolio.
MGIC requires expert advice on whether its current portfolio of insurances is
adequate for the size and scope of its operations and appropriately supports
MGIC’s duty of care obligations to its employees. As part of these services,
the selected firm(s) will assess MGIC’s insurance needs based on its current
and planned operations, the current status of the organization’s insurance
coverage, and the relevancy of insurance products on the market based on
identified needs and criteria.

profit affiliate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), which works
to strengthen health systems and reduce the spread and impact of HIV/AIDS in

including Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, and
Zambia.
