AFIDEP is looking to recruit an experienced and energetic person to fill in
the position below:

Research and Policy Analyst – Demography Emphasis
This position seeks a dynamic and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join
our research team in an exciting project on traditional methods of
contraception in West and East Africa. He/she will have a PhD in Demography
(or related discipline) with formal training in technical demography. The
applicant must have at least 2 years of practical experience in demographic
research and conducting fieldwork; strong scientific writing skills with peer-
reviewed journals; strong verbal communication skills; experience of policy
engagement and knowledge translation; proposal development; competence in
statistical software and understanding of qualitative software.
