MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AND PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE

Vac. 89/20
Post: Horticulturist (Grade I)
Salary: Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location: Department of Buildings

Qualifications*>
Applicants should be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture
obtained from accredited institutions.

Duties*>
Supervise, monitor and evaluate government landscape projects in coordination
with Chief Landscape Architect; carry out experiments and research to
ornamental horticultural plants and their products; assist in the awarding of
contracts of landscape projects to relevant contractors, etc.

Note:*>
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement
shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to
demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable
officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in
appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
