Applications are being invited for a highly motivated and performance driven
candidate for consideration to fill in the position of Junior Accountant
/Sales Representative for our company which is in retail.

The main responsibilities will be as listed below:

> Managing day to day accounting operations of the Business
> Process monthly expenditure
> Update and maintain the cashbook
> Process staff payroll and related deductions
> Maintain the petty cash
> Processing customers quotation, cash sales and invoices
> Assist the customers at the counter with their queries
> Need to follow up on the orders which the customer makes and should be upbeat while resolving problems and ensuring customer satisfaction
> Keep yourself updated with the product inventory and its functionality
> Must check the quality and the quality of the product, which is brought into the warehouse, need to
verify it depending on the order made initially

> Ensure that each product is stacked as per their location in the warehouse and organize it effectively.
> Prepare and submit weekly sales report to management
> Perform bank reconciliations
> Maintain filing systems in accordance with guidelines
> Ensure that all payments are prepared in time and according with all financial guidelines
> Assist with internal controls
> Ensure that company finance and assets are well managed
> Interpret variance reports and expenditure to company staff and management
> Ensure report compliance with accounting principles and standards
> Solving all accounting and tax related queries
> Assisting in clearing goods (knowledge of import & export) with MRA and all related duty and tax
payments

> Any other duties assigned to you.

QUALIFICATIONS*>
• Must have either a relevant accountancy paper, or a Diploma in ACCA, Cert.
in ICAM or CIFA, etc
• Relevant experience in accordance to the above.
• Knowledge of generally accepted Accounting Statutes and Principles.
• Knowledge of Sage will be an added advantage.
• Should have at least 3 to 5 years’ working experience.
• Must have some experience in clearing and counter sales, e.g. preparing
quotations, invoicing, stock
taking etc.
