AutoGyr Solutions (pronounced “AutoGear”) continues to grow and we would like
to recruit talented Automotive Parts Salespersons to join our exciting team of
automotive enthusiasts.

Head Officed in Malawi’s commercial city of Blantyre, AutoGyr Solutions is a
2013 established fast growing Malawian retailer of BMW, Mini, Mercedes Benz,
Audi & Volkswagen Car Parts & Accessories with another outlet in the
administrative capital city, Lilongwe but serves the whole country and
neighbouring countries via courier services.

Responsibilities:
To serve customers by phone & in person through sales of motor vehicle spare
parts & accessories in accordance with identified customer needs and
availability of parts.
The job requires substantial knowledge of items on our range of offering and
general knowledge about motor vehicles and eligible candidates should be
prepared to be posted anywhere between the cities of Blantyre and Lilongwe.

As a Parts Salesperson, you will be responsible for, among many others,
providing vehicle parts and merchandise to walk in customers while providing
exceptional customer service when you interface with them in any other method
available.

In essence, you will be expected to:
• Provide exceptional service to all car owners and resellers.
• Process customer orders and recommend additional related repair/replacement
items.
• Gain superior product knowledge and understanding of vehicle components to
effectively help customers.
• Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, and
product features.
• Assist with daily inventory, receiving, stocking and dispatching to
locations outside Blantyre/Lilongwe.
• Special order parts on an emergency basis and as when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of price lists, structures & strategic operations
as per company procedure.
• Help maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the service
counter, work area and stockroom.
• Maintain records of time, expenses and materials.
• Issue reports to management as per company procedure.

Qualifications:

Minimum of an attractive Malawi School Certificate of Education coupled with
acceptable knowledge of motor vehicles & spare parts.
• Previous parts sales experience, preferred
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Automotive workshop experience is a plus
• Any automotive certifications is a plus
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
• Strong numerical skills
• Working knowledge of computer systems & the internet
• Be at least 21 years of age & very responsible
• Possession of a valid driver’s license will be a plus
• Pass a criminal background screening
