The Opportunity

Save the Children is inviting applications from suitably qualified personnel
to fill the position of Marketing Field Monitor*> (2 positions) for
Titukulane Project to be based in Zomba. The project will be implemented in
Zomba; covering all Traditional Authorities. The role holder will be
responsible for working with rural communities at the grass root level,
stakeholders and partners on all marketing and rural transformation works.
He/she shall be responsible for conducting sensitization meetings, community
mobilization and delivering technical support and oversight to Community
Mobilizers, partners, and marketing groups to build their capacities. The
incumbent shall be responsible for facilitating planning, implementation,
monitoring and evaluation of all market related interventions in coordination
with the Marketing Coordinator. He/she shall work in collaboration with the
Marketing Coordinator and government partners to reach out to the targeted
beneficiaries and will take full responsibility of coordinating and make all
logistics to ensure successful implementation of all activities. He/she will
be responsible for timely report compilation and submission on all market
activities and lessons learnt and challenges that need attention of
supervisors. He/she shall be responsible for developing monthly detailed
program activity implementation plans including expenditure projections and
other appropriate requirements. He/she shall provide technical support for
conducting baseline, performance and impact monitoring, and end of program
surveys.

would suit those who are currently living in or close to the implementing
villages; or are comfortable to live there.*>

In order to be successful, you will bring/have:

> Minimum of a tertiary certificate in in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Finance, or Enterprise Development, or other appropriate social and development field such as Social Science, Sociology, Development Studies, Community Development or Rural Development. Those with diploma in the relevant subject will have an added advantage.

> Good communication skills; excellent command of written and spoken English

> To be well organized and capable of completing multiple tasks before a deadline

> To be willing to intensively travel in rural areas.

> 3 years extensive experience in extension activities, community mobilization, Marketing and VSAs

> Facilitation and negotiation skills

> To be a Self-starter and creative.

> Community mobilization and sensitization skills

> Ability to deliver an effective training to community volunteers

> Excellent interpersonal communication skills and teamwork spirit; ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders in the program

> Sound report writing skills

> Competence in Microsoft Office

> Valid motorcycle driving license
