MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AND PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE

Vac. 93/20
Post : Building Supervisor (Grade K)
Salary: Within the Grade K salary scale segment
Location : Department of Buildings

Qualifications*>
Applicants should be either Building Foremen or Electrical Foremen and in
possession of a National Trade Test Certificate or equivalent TEVET
qualifications.

Duties*>
Take charge of building work and direct labour on sites where that capital
maintenance works are being undertaken; provide estimates for given work in
construction/maintenance; supervise craftsmen on best ways of construction
works; co-ordinate and solve problems regarding workmen, etc.

Note:*>
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement
shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to
demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable
officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in
appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
