Applications are invited from suitably qualified and highly motivated
individuals with relevant experience for the position of CREDITORS OFFICER for
Central Poultry 2000
Limited to be based at its Head Office in Lilongwe.

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the successful candidate will among
other duties be expected to; Manage the supplier accounts aiming at but not
limited to; timely booking of invoices, controlled aged balances, reconciled
account position, timely preparation of payments and record keeping. Act as a
reference point for payables queries.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should possess the following

•Degree in Accounting or its equivalent and 2 years related accounting
experience.
•Understanding of International Accounting Standards.

COMPETENCIES.
•Communication Skills,
•Ability to use spreadsheets and interpret packages, invoice Processes
knowledge.
•Very strong numeracy skills.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
•Ensure aged balances do not go beyond 60 days.
•Reduce % of supplier recurring items month to month.
•Control % of supplier accounts without reconciling items.
•Timely preparation of supplier payments according to aged balance position
•Clear and coordinated filing of supplier documents for booking, payments and
post-payment
review.
•Resolving of supplier account queries before next reconciliation period.
