Foundation for Community and Capacity Development FOCCAD is a Malawian not for
profit organization headquartered in Nkhotakota district. FOCCAD has been
contracted by World Food Program to provide technical assistance (Capacity
Support) to Salima District Council towards implementation of 2020-2021 Food
Insecurity Emergency Response Program. FOCCAD urgently looks to recruit for
the following temporary positions for a period of two months (1st February-
30th March 2021) to work alongside council staff.
District Technical Officer- Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting.
Description
The M&E technical officer will work with the council M&E officer in setting up
systems for monitoring and evaluation, managing beneficiary data and technical
support in monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
Reporting District Operations Officer
Responsibilities
• Providing technical assistance to the council M&E officer in handling all
monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities, beneficiary data management,
conducting onsite monitoring, documentation of case studies and reporting on
issues arising during food distribution.
Qualification
The candidate should have the following
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, monitoring and evaluation, statistics
or any relevant field.
• Three to five years’ experience in managing humanitarian response programs
in a similar capacity
• Experience in humanitarian related monitoring and evaluation systems
including beneficiary data management, onsite monitoring and PDM.
• Outstanding research knowledge and skills.
• Strong knowledge of other computer statistical packages.
