## Overview
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to
fill the position of
DENTAL THERAPIST
Mulanje Mission Hospital is looking to engage a dynamic and self-starting
person to take up the position of Dental Therapist.
Reporting to the Medical Officer In – Charge, the officer will be responsible
for
> Carrying out surgical extraction of teeth and root canal treatment
> Prescribing drugs and conducting oral teeth hygiene for patients
> Supervising the recording of data in relevant registers
> Sterilizing dental instruments and supervising the Dental Attendant
> Perform any other duties that may be deemed reasonable for the post
Qualifications and personal attributes
> Diploma in Dental Therapy obtained from a recognized training institution
> Minimum of 2 years working experience in a busy environment
> Highly motivated and team player
> Able to work under stressful conditions and long hours
