### Job Description
Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian
organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in
crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or
political affiliation. In Malawi, MSF works in collaboration with the
Ministry of Health and the local community in integrated HIV/AIDS in
Chiradzulu District and Cervical Cancer projects Blantyre districts.

Position LAUNDRY WORKER (8 POSITIONS)
Workplace Blantyre- QECH
Type of contract 1 month Fixed term contract with possible extension
Start date Immediate
Main purpose of the position
> Execute, according to hygienic standard, cleaning and tiding up activities in order to ensure public and staff private areas are in good condition

Main responsibilities
> According to the protocols of an efficient laundry washing process, carry out washing and disinfection of Linens, blankets, mattress, Professional clothes etc;
> According to the protocols of an effective sterilisation process, carry out washing, drying, the disinfecting, keeping track of the sterilisation process and its quality is sufficient
> Knowing, applying and making sure that the universal hygiene standards and security rules are respected for medical premises and
> According to protocols cleaning and disinfecting health premises allocated to them i.e. Patients rooms, staff room and doing it on a regular basis and as soon as the situation requires it
> Reporting all relevant information linked to the laundry or designated activities that should be communicated to the line manager.
