### Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to take up the
following position tenable in the Corporation

POSITION NETWORK ENGINEER

GRADE ES8

REPORTING TO SENIOR SYSTEM PROGRAMMER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the
efficiency of current networks
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers.
proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency
and security
• Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and
troubleshooting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Software/Computer Systems Engineering,
Computer Systems and Networks
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 5 years’ experience in supporting corporate networks is required
• CCNA with the technical aspects of the design, management and support of
enterprise networking systems is a must
• CCNP is an added advantage.
