Urgently looking for Human Resource and Health, Safety & Environment Officer
to be tenable in Blantyre.



### Position Human Resource and Health, Safety & Environment Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

> Maintain proper filing of employee personal files
> Manage HR database
> Maintain an up to date archiving system for all personal records
> Manage and maintain staff and motor insurance records
> Manage staff welfare
> Maintain daily attendance records for employees
> Assist in staff recruitment
> Manage employee Pension scheme
> Handle on Industrial Relations issues
> Handle administration issues for the organization
> Compile safety programs
> Implement and enhance health and safe working standards
> Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees
> Maintain compliance of all safety regulations at the workplace and project site
> Identify hazardous waste disposal systems
> Compile and maintain register for HSE occurrences
> Document staff information, minutes of meetings on HSE
> Regularly inspect fire and safety equipment and working areas

Qualifications and Experience

> Diploma in Human Resources and Administration or relevant qualifications with a minimum experience of 5 years or degree with 3 years experience in a busy organisation

Skills and Knowledge

> Proficient in Microsoft Office, word and excel
> Thorough understanding of Malawi Labours Laws
> Ability to interact with staff at all levels and possess of conflict management and problem –solving skills
> Must have people management technics
> Must possess interpersonal skills
> Must have effective organizational skills
> Must have meticulous behaviour
