About the role
To strategically lead, coordinate and monitor effective and quality
implementation of the FARMSE project. The project funded by Government of
Malawi through the Financial Access for Rural Markets, Smallholders and
Enterprises (FARMSE) Programme, with International Fund for Agriculture
Development (IFAD) as a back donor. The overall objective of the Gender
Responsive Ultra Poor Graduation project*> is to enhance resilience and
sustainably graduate 3 300 rural households, including at least 30% women
headed households and 20% youth headed households from ultra-poverty in
Machinga district.
About you
Candidates applying for this role should have the following
Minimum a Bachelors degree in related field. Substantial experience of
international development programme management, including of management of
back donor funded projects, and field based management • Experience in Social
Protection and project management • Experience in partner support and capacity
building • Familiarity with Malawi National Social Support Program, social
protection policies and particularly social cash transfer and graduation
approaches. Excellent understanding of M&E and Learning in social cash
transfer and graduation.
