National Food Reserve Agency
The National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) was established on 5th June, 1999, to
manage the country’s Strategic Grain Reserve. Its head office is at Kanengo in
Lilongwe. The Agency is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons
to fill the vacant position of AICTO tenable at its Head Office in Lilongwe.
Purpose of the Job
To provide first line support in the development, troubleshooting and
management of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment,
networks and software at NFRA
Main Duties
i) Maintain, troubleshoot and resolve all minor network and hardware related
issues
ii) Computer and printer repairs and maintenance
iii) Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
iv) Maintaining inventory of ICT equipment and software
v) Help install and upgrade various software as required
vi) Providing on the job training for ICT users
vii) Conduct data backups
viii) Producing ICT reports
ix) Other related issues as assigned by the ICTO
Minimum requirements
a) Education
Diploma in Information Technology/computer Science or its equivalent
b) Experience
i) Experience with Web design technologies
ii) Experience with MS Windows System Administration
iii) Experience with Linux System Administration (CentOS/Ubuntu
iv) Experience in support Sage Accounting System
v) At least one year of working experience in a related field
