Mary’s Meals Malawi is delighted to be recruiting for the following position.
Mary s Meals Malawi is our largest school feeding programme and reaches over
30% of the primary school aged children, in Malawi, and we work closely with
schools and community volunteers who help prepare and serve the nutritious
meals every school day.

Mary’s Meals is a global movement supported by people from all walks of life
and we are focused on one goal \u2014 that every child receives a Nutritious
daily meal in a place of education. We continue to change the Iives of over
1.6 million children who today will receive Mary’s Meals.

Operations Training and Engagement Officer (OTEO)

Job Purpose

The OTEO will primarily make sure that there is adherence to Mary’s Meals
Schools Feeding Programme standards Through quality assurance activities such
as audits, the OTEO will help make sure that Mary’s Meals Malawi delivers a
high-quality School Feeding Programme both in how data managed, and activities
are implemented.

Additionally, the OTEO will help make sure that there is an increased
engagement of SFOs and SFMs in the delivery of SFP and that they freely share
best practices and adequately addresses challenges so that they deliver an
effective and efficient School Feeding Programme.

Where needs necessitate the OTEO will provide support to MEL in data
collection for surveys and internal evaluations. S/he will also provide
support to Programme Delivery with implementation of SFP activities.

The OTEO will report to the Operations, Training and Engagement Manage (OTEM),
and will play a support role in the implementation of expansion activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

> A diploma in a relevant subject or equivalent level professional experience is essential.
> Good command of English and fluency in one or more local languages.
> At least two (2) years post qualification work experience (preferably within the NGO sector) working under a school feeding setup.
> Excellent knowledge of Mary’s Meals School Feeding delivery model
> Good knowledge of data collection tools and datasets.
> Demonstrable good planning and Organisational skills.
> Highly developed interpersonal skills and exceptional integrity
> Ability to work with minimum supervision and to meet challenging deadlines.
> Analytical and critical thinking skills.
> Training of Trainers skills.
> Presentation and facilitation skills
> Proven IT skills, competent in the use of MS Office software, especially excel.
> A valid driver’s licence (motorbike).
