Mary’s Meals Malawi is delighted to be recruiting for the following position.
Mary s Meals Malawi is our largest school feeding programme and reaches over
30% of the primary school aged children, in Malawi, and we work closely with
schools and community volunteers who help prepare and serve the nutritious
meals every school day.

Mary’s Meals is a global movement supported by people from all walks of life
and we are focused on one goal that every child receives a Nutritious daily
meal in a place of education. We continue to change the Iives of over 1.6
million children who today will receive Mary’s Meals.

Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Officer

Job Purpose

The main purpose of this job is to ensure timely and accurate data
consolidation and submission of key programmes indicators by RMs and SFMs and
to analyse, collate programme data to present the findings to senior
management. The post also supports qualitative data collection and analysis
for specific research such as Impact Assessment.

The MELO support the MELC in further developing the learning aspect and is
required to produce internal and external reports. There is also a component
of internal capacity building in data management systems and processes.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

> A university Diploma (Dip) in M&E, related field, economics, statistics mathematics, epidemiology, community health, rural and community development or any other social or health sciences.
> At least two years’ experience working in a similar position.
> Excellent written and oral English skills, with a special emphasis on report proposal writing and fluency m one or more local languages.
> Robust data collation, analysis and interpretation skills.
> Proven IT skills, competent in the use of MS Office software, especially excel.
> Good attention to details.
> Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection.
> Ability to identify gaps in data management and data flow.
> High analytical skills.
> Research and needs assessment skills.
> Good organisational skills.
> Presentation, facilitation and public speaking skills.
> Knowledge of school feeding, stock delivery and management and other pertinent school feeding processes.
> Experience of working with an international non-profit organisation.
> A valid driver’s licence.
