Ethanol Company Limited (EthCo) is a molasses based ethanol production firm
located in Dwangwa, a town in Nkhotakota Lakeshore District of Malawi.
Commissioned in 1982, the Company has produced over 380 million litres of
ethanol at both 99.5%v/v and 96%v/v ethanol strength. EthCo is the pioneer of
Ethanol production in Malawi.
Opportunities have risen in the Company in the Engineering Section within
Operations Department for the following position
Temporary General Fitter*>
Applications are invited to fill the vacant post of a Temporary General
Fitter. Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, the successful
candidate shall among other things, be responsible for maintenance of
mechanical equipment in the plant, machining operations and carrying out minor
welding operations.
In return, the Company will offer a competitive package commensurate with the
level of responsibility associated with the post and in line with its
organizational structure.
