## Overview

Green Impact Technologies (GIT) is a limited company that accelerate
alternative energy technologies for lighting, cooking, irrigation and other
productive uses targeting from both base of the pyramid to high income
customers. Through Climate Change Innovation Challenge, GIT got financial
support from Environmental Affairs Department (EAD) under United Nations
Development Program (UNDP), to pilot distribution of Liquified Petroleum Gas
(LPG) from the developed storage cage at Bunda turn-off Total filling station
targeting area 36, 38 and 24 people in Lilongwe.

Therefore, we are looking for a candidate to fill the position of an LPG gas
attendant to be operating at 6 miles, Bunda turn-off Total filling station.

Po*> s*> ition LPG Gas Attendant (1)

LPG gas attendant performs general LPG gas selling and help keep the property
clean. The Incumbent will primarily work outdoors at the gas storage cage and
may be asked to travel to other areas within Lilongwe for delivery of LPG gas
cylinders.

Duties and Responsibility

> Greet Customers – Gas attendants greet customers when they approach the cylinder storage cage and ask if they need assistance with anything.
> Exchange empty gas cylinders from customers with refilled gas cylinders
> Conduct Customer Transactions – LPG Gas attendant will handle cash sales
> Clean the Gas cage- Gas attendants will keep their work station and customer areas clean and organized by taking out the trash, sweeping floors and parking lots, and performing general housekeeping tasks.
> Maintain Awareness – Gas attendant to be the ambassador of LPG Gas safety awareness to the customers visiting the storage cage
> Product Awareness – The attendant may be required to issue flayers and brochures to the general populace for product awareness campaign
> Any duty as assigned by the director

Q*> ualifications

> Candidates with MSCE qualification are encouraged to apply.

Abilities

> Physical fitness – ability to carry gas cylinders,
> Customer service – skills to greet and interact with customers
> Mathematics – because gas attendants collect payment for sold products and services and make change, some basic math skills are required
> Salesmanship – sales skills to sell extra products and services to customers
> Attention to detail – ability to notice even small problems when cleaning and performing other tasks
