Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the
following, vacant position tenable at SRWB Head Office in Zomba
COMMERCIAL SERVICES MANAGER*>
Candidates should possess a minimum of Masters’ degree in Computer Science and
Information Technology; and Bachelor of Science in Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) plus at least five (5) years relevant working
experience.
Reporting, to the Director of Operations, the Commercial Services Manager
shall ensure that commercial services are properly and adequately provided.
He/she will be responsible for providing, billing and customer services
throughout the Board to ensure customer delight and satisfaction; implementing
debt collection strategies for all classes of customers including public
institutions; developing standard customer care procedure manuals; developing
and implementing commercial strategies according to Board’s goals, objectives
aiming at generating growth; persuading customers with huge debts to settle
their dues through maintenance of contact with them either by telephone or
paying them visits; coordinating the mainstreaming of health and safety in all
of the Board’s operational activities; monitoring, the performance of
commercial activities using, key matrices and preparing reports for senior
management; building and maintaining profitable partnerships with key
stakeholders.
The successful candidate shall have proven leadership and management skills
with strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent report whiting
and project management skills. He/she will have the ability to collect debt,
develop policies, assess and report performance, prioritize, delegate and
supervise others, negotiate, solve problems and multi-task with attention to
detail.
