Applications are invited from suitably qualified Malawians, Civil Servants or
non-civil servants as the case may be depending on the requirements of the

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SECURITY

Vac. 97/23
Post Principal Bio-Metric Officer (Grade G)
Salary Within the Grade G salary scale segment
Location Department of Animal Health and Livestock Development

Qualifications*>
Applicants should be serving Systems Analysts/Programmers (Grade I) or
Statisticians (Grade I) with a minimum of four (4) years experience in those
posts.

Duties*>
Assist and advise in planning one design of research, survey and
investigations of animal diseases in the field; provide recommendation on
method data collection both in the field and laboratory; collect and analyse
data on disease incidences; maintain and service computer hardware and
software, etc.

Note*>
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement
shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also he requited to
demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable
officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in
appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
