Post Energy Officer (Grade I)
Salary ; Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location Department of Energy

Qualifications*>
Applicants should be in possession of a Bachelor of Science in either
Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy obtained from accredited
institutions.

Duties*>
Interpret and enforce of National Energy Policy (NEP) on matters relating to
energy planning and management; Review Energy Policies and ensure that such
policies are in line with overall National Development Plan; Liaise with ESCOM
on tee preliminary design and estimates for identified rural electrification;
explore alternative ways of supplying electricity to rural areas, etc.

Note*>
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement
shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also he requited to
demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable
officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in
appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
