non-civil servants as the case may be depending on the requirements of the

MINISTRY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY AND THE ELDERLY

Vac. 106/20
Post Principal Elderly Programmes Officer (Grade G)
Salary Within the Grade G salary scale segment
Location Ministry of Persons with Disability and the Elderly

Qualifications*>
Applicants should be serving officers with a minimum of four (4) years’
experience at Grade H and in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the
following fieldsSocial Work, Nursing, Social Sciences, Human Nutrition and
Gerontology obtained from accredited institutions.

Duties*>
Develop safety-net programmes in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure
that older persons are self-reliant; maintain up-to date statistics of older
persons at national level; participate in implementation of social protection
programmes targeting older persons; supervise and provide support to officers
at district level, etc.

Note*>
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement
shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also he requited to
demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable
officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in
appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
