Shalom Dental Services is therefore looking for result —oriented and competent
individuals to fill the following vacant posts tenable at its branches
(Blantyre, Ginnery Corner and Limbe).
Dental Therapist (1)
Key Responsibilities
> History taking, examination diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases
> Taking digital oral x-rays and interpretation
> Assessment of oral conditions requiring expert management and appropriate referral
> Prescription of standard drugs for oral conditions
> Oral prophylaxis , extractions and restorative treatments
> Oral health education and dietary counseling
> Management of RTA and other trauma injuries
> Keeping record of patients
Qualifications
> Must Have a Diploma in Dental Therapy from a recognized institution
> Must have the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent
> Must be registered and having right standing with the Medical Council of Malawi
> Must have at least 3 years experiences at a similar post in a busy clinic
> Must be a self -starter, mature and able to cope with pressure of work
> Must have excellent communication skill and able to work as a team
