candidates to fill the following challenging positions
ADVERTISING AND MARKETING MANAGER
Duties and Key Responsibilities
> Establish and develop long term business relationships with existing, potential listeners and clients; sourcing, identifying and securing new business opportunities, generating creative solutions for clients, presenting campaign proposals, making the sale and delivering accurate reports and forecasts of revenue.
> Responsible for day-to-day Radio and TV sales operations and achieving revenue goals.
> Increase brand awareness and loyalty, grow the audience and attract advertisers as well as interpreting data about radio markets and audiences.
> Create spot, non spot and digital sales opportunities and establish overall tone and direction of the department priorities.
> Design and implement promotional campaigns and events that will engage audience and meet client needs.
> Manage budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.
> Develop client specific pitches, attend client meetings and client networking events, make presentations and close sales.
> Initiate market research studies and analyse findings to understand customer and market opportunities for PL FM and GD TV.
> Create interest and sale advertising air time to current and potential customers
> Provide timely weekly revenue and pacing reports
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
> Must be a committed Christian and possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication or Graduate Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or other related fields.
> At least 3-5 years of experience in Radio and Television Advertising and Marketing Management
> Excellent Analytical, Negotiation, Interpersonal, Organizational, Computer and Strong Proposal Writing Skills
> Must be flexible, organized, professional, disciplined, courageous, confident, creative and personable.
> Must possess a good driving record and a valid driver’s license
