LOAN OFFICERS
Reporting to the Loan Supervisor/ Branch Supervisor
The Loan Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining a healthy
portfolio of micro and small
enterprise clients. Identify, process, and monitor new and existing clients.
Ensure accurate loan appraisals, evaluations, and the efficient follow-up of
arrears/ delinquent clients and the provision of strong client service.
Maintain up-to-date client records and reports.
Major Responsibilities and duties
> Build and maintain a substantial and high quality loan portfolio
> Solicit new loan accounts in accordance with specific period performance targets prescribed in the branch work plans
> Receive loan applications and perform credit investigations on new applicants
> Prepare and submit applications to the loan committee for approval
> Train clients on VisionFund Malawi lending methodologies and requirements
> Conduct active marketing campaigns to attract new clients
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
> Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Accounting or any development related field.
> Minimum of three years’ work experience
> Willingness and ability to work effectively in any environment
> High developed sense of responsibility and correctness
> Ability and desire to do exact and detailed analysis for all loan applications
> Excellent communication, computing and marketing skills
> Must be a committed Christian
> Motorcycle driving skills and license are an added advantage
> Be a committed Christian
