Holy Family Mission Hospital (HFMH) is under Christian Health Association of
Malawi (CHAM) under the Archdiocese of Blantyre of the Roman Catholic Church.
It is situated in the south eastern part of Malawi, north of Mulanje Mountain
in Phalombe district. It was founded in 1960 by the Medical Mission Sisters of
Holland. Holy Family Hospital is inviting applications from suitably qualified
persons to fill the following vacant positions.
Job Title Laboratory Technologist (Grade I)*>
Responsible to Medical Officer*>
Responsible for Daily running of the laboratory
#### Main Duties
#### 1\. Develop and revise standard operating procedures
2\. Supervise laboratory activities on daily basis.
3\. Perform laboratory tests
4\. Implement Quality Improving System Controls in the department.
5\. Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
> Must have a Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences /Biomedical Sciences from a reputable institution.
> Must be computer literate
> He /she must be registered with Medical Council of Malawi
#### ii). Experience
At least one year experience.
