SENIOR PEOPLE AND CULTURE OFFICER
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager
The Senior People and Culture Officer will be responsible for ensuring smooth
running of the people and culture processes specifically relating to on
boarding staff, orientation, training and performance management.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
• Support the timely assessment, recruitment, candidate screening, selection,
hiring and orientation
• Work with hiring managers in planning and coordinating hiring processes
• Ensure timely renewal of employee contracts
• Facilitate the LORO process to ensure that we have well trained staff
• Periodically evaluate and propose any change/adjustment required to the
performance management system of the MFI;
• Assists managers to set SMART performance targets and ultimately ensures
that performance contracts are properly aligned to JDs;
• Review completed performance appraisals for all staff to ensure the
performance appraisals are
aligned to performance contract and monitors performance gap trends within the
MFI;
Recommend employees recognition activities to honor individual milestones and
achievements
• In consultation with the People & Culture Manager, develops performance
indicators and standards in promoting staff to higher post
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
• Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or any other relevant
qualification
• Proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams, strong communication &
presentation skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines, multi-tasking to
ensure deadline are met.
• Strong client relations, negotiation and selling skills, relationship
Management and team motivator/builder
• Be a committed Christian
