## About the role

The LGT fellow will provide critical project management, coordination, and
leadership to one of Last Mile Health’s growing teams. Because Last Mile
Health has a number of diverse needs, we are seeking to place fellow(s) in a
number of roles based on the applicant’s skill, background and interests.

Location*> US, Uganda, Liberia, Ethiopia, Malawi, depending on the team
assigned
Start date*> May 2021

## Key responsibilities

The fellow will lead or significantly contribute to key strategic projects on
one of LMH’s teams (Global Services, Global Programs, Partnerships &
Communications, or Liberia Country team) in a role that includes both desk
research and project implementation. Examples include

> Support the Global Services team to design a dashboard that integrates a range of performance, compliance, and risk information and data; improve LMH’s risk framework; integrate LMH’s knowledge management, project management, and internal communications workstreams
> Support the Partnerships & Communications team to conduct desk research of current and prospective funding prospects to inform cultivation/stewardship strategies and tactics; and support development operations functions such as portfolio segmentation & reporting, revenue reporting & analytics
> Support the Liberia Country Director in building systems and workflow tools and ensuring coordination across various functional departments
> Support to the growing Global Programs team to identify and adapt (1) ways of working, (2) team processes, (3) facilitate team level strategy development, (4) support the articulation and packaging of our technical capabilities and technical assistance.
> Embed with our health finance team to support our country teams in financing for community health programs – including analytics, planning, mobilizing resources, and advising on use of resources

## Requirements

For all roles, LMH is seeking a fellow who

> Has experience in a global and diverse organization
> Is a disciplined and experienced project manager
> Is fluent in English

Additionally, experience in one of the following would be a plus for specific
roles

> Working in partnership with government counterparts or external stakeholders
> Business process improvement
> Costing and health economics analyses
> Business development or sales
