Evangelical Bible College of Malawi
(EBCoM) is an inter-denominational College which was established in 1964 to
train pastors and other Christian workers who serve in different churches and
the society in Malawi and neighbouring countries. Currently EBCoM offers
Certificate in Biblical Studies, Diploma in Theology and Christian Ministry
and Bachelor of Christian Ministry with Education. Evangelical Bible College
of Malawi is accredited with
Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA) and
registered with National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
EBCoM invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons who
are committed Christians to fill the vacant positions of Lecturers.
LECTURERS
Applicants should be specialised in either of the following fields Education,
Church History, Biblical Theology, Biblical Languages (Greek & Hebrew),
Systematic Theology and Applied Theology.
In your application, indicate your area of specialisation. Those applying for
education part, also indicate your area of specialisation, i.e. teaching
methodologies.
Duties and responsibilities
Prepare lectures, assignments, and examinations for each subject assigned by
the Academic Dean according to the curriculum and syllabus.
Teach assigned subjects according to the timetable, maintaining discipline and
a productive learning environment in each class.
Maintain academic records and submit them to the Academic Dean.
Academic Qualifications
Must have a College/University teaching experience of not less than three
years in a well established institution.
Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in either theology/divinity (or
related) or Education (to teach education related courses) from an accredited
and government recognised institution.
