There is Hope (TIH)
There is Hope (TIH) is a Christian, non-denominational, non-profit making NGO
that provides access to education and income generating activities to refugees
at Dzaleka Refugee Camp and Malawians in surrounding communities. TIH is
looking for a mature, passionate and qualified candidate to fill the position
of Human Resources Officer based at our office in Lilongwe.
The successful candidate will manage and oversee the Human Resources
Department including ensuring good recruitment, retention and training of
staff; managing personnel issues including discipline matters and providing
clear, ethical advice to the Senior Management Team (SMT) and managers on
staffing and administrative issues.
The minimum qualification for the suitable candidate is a Bachelor Degree in
Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Development or other
relevant fields. He/she must also have at least 3 years’ experience at Senior
Management level as manager of a Human Resources department and at least 5
years NGO experience in the Human Resources Department.
