Job Title Financial Analyst
Reports directly to Financial Controller
Malawi Fertilizer Company is a well-established blender and supplier of
fertilizer solutions in Malawi. The company is looking for a highly qualified
person to fill the vacant position of Financial Analyst that exists at the
Head Office in Kanengo, Lilongwe.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTATBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following
duties
Perform an audit of all the company’s Financial records.
Provide professional advice to the Financial Accountant as to the Company’s
Income and Expenditure.
Prepare Analytical Financial reports that can provide insights as to whether
the company is making profits.
Preparation of annual audits and provision of the required information to the
auditors during the audit process.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE EDUCATION
Degree in Accounting and professional qualification ACCA, CIMA, CA and
registration with the Institute of Auditors’ body.
EXPERIENCE
5 years’ experience in Accounting /Auditing
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Extensive knowledge in Auditing skills
• Analytical Financial reporting skills.
• Management accounting and financial management skills.
• Written skills
• Presentation skills
• IT Skills
