Branch Manager, Mzuzu Branch
Applications are invited from knowledgeable, experienced and skilled
candidates to fill the position of Branch Manager at First Capital Bank Plc.
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
> Executionof Branch sales plans as per sales targets.
> Improve customer experience at Branch delivery channels.
> Monitor internal controls to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness and where necessary recommend amendments to address uncontrolled risks as identified.
> Develop and nurture business relationships with the Clients, ensuring that the strategy and business objectives of the Bank are achieved.
> Preparation, monitoring and control of Branch budgets.
> Driving customer acquisition and or sales to enable the bank achieve its growth targets in line with the agreed financial plan.
> Monitoring and managing staff performance to ensure achievement of Key Performance Indicators
> Adherence to Branch ambiance standards.
> Liaising with Credit department to initiate and conclude credit deals.
> Portfolio risk management and regulatory compliance.
Personal competencies
The suitable candidate should have the Following competencies
> Leadership skills
> Attention to detail with excellent research and problem solving attributes
> Self-starter and mature
> High level of professionalism, assertive, self-motivated, and sense of urgency
> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
> Excellent people management
Qualifications
> Degree in Banking, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or related Degree from recognised institutions
> Riskand Credit management ability
> Selling and customer service skills
> Computerskills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Experience
Experience
> Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relationship management and or marketing/selling.
> General banking experience will be an added advantage
> At least 1 year credit experience
> At least 3 years proven record of People Management skills
> Successfully managing a Branch or Agency and looking for growth opportunity
