### Job Description
New Beginnings Malawi*> is a local organization in Lilongwe that supports
expectant girls, young mothers and adolescent girls in difficult and abusive
situations. As a growing organization, we are looking for passionate
individuals who understand what it means to work with a startup and are
willing to support the growth of the organization.
Applicants MUST not be more than 35 years old for all positions.
### Position PSYCHOSOCIAL COUNSELLORS (FEMALES only)
Requirements
> Provide one on one and group counseling sessions to marginalized young women who are victims of abuse and those struggling with unresolved trauma.
> Provide individualised, holistic and comprehensive case management support including beneficiary intake assessment, family assessment, goal setting, long-term care plan development, weekly case plan development, progress monitoring etc.
> Must be a fluent Chichewa speaker with experience and understanding of case management and analysis as well as strong Excel and Word skills.
> Must have a minimum of an Advanced Diploma in Psychosocial Counselling/Counselling and Guidance or equivalent with at least 2 years experience offering one on one counselling support.
