## Overview
BACKGROUND
Farmers World Limited wishes to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the
following vacancy as part of its Business expansion drive. The position is
being offered on an initial 6-months’ fixed term contract, to be reviewed upon
successful completion of the initial contract.
BUSINESS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR – (Reporting to Business Development
Manager) OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
Monitoring sales and stock movement, handling customer service interactions,
maintaining strong relationships with customers and ensuring the growth of the
Business though the competitive Bidding initiative.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
> With guidance from Line Manager, Attending to Tender and Prequalification opportunities as publicized and as per market research.
> Managing Sales Agreements and Supply Contracts from an operational perspective.
> Exploring and developing new business opportunities with the government, International agencies, NGOs,the Corporate World and other commercial concerns for the company.
> Undertaking customer service for corporate clients.
> Overseeing management of value-added services like Hello Paisa, Mukuru and Agency Banking.
> Carrying out market research to find business opportunities.
> Managing the companies records on Tender, Bids and Supply Contracts.
> Liaising with Marketing and Operations in undertaking promotional activities with an aim of developing business.
> Marketing of company products
> Managing and responding to Customer queries
> Managing competitor information and maintaining retail price list
> Analyzing Branch/store statistics (Sales, Ratios, GP’s, Customer counts, basket size Growth).
QUALIFICATIONS, PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES, KNOWLEDGEAND SKILLS
> Bachelor’s degree in business studies with a professional marketing Qualification or affiliation.
> 3 years’ work experience in a similar role.
> Right sense of urgency
> Strong Operational Understanding
> Analytical capabilities to determine accurate Business opportunities in advertised Tenders
> Commercial focus & Ability to take ownership over assigned Projects and tasks
> Ability to spot opportunities and convert them into business
