## Job Description
This is a remote position.
CIP Malawi is implementing a Project titled Root and Tuber Crops for
Agricultural Transformation in Malawi (“RTC-ACTION Malawi). The project was
designed as a national research and development program with technical
coordination by CIP and close ties to the Root and Tuber Crops Development
Trust (RTCDT) for stakeholder engagement.
The objective of the RTC-ACTION Malawi is to increase the contributions of
root and tuber crops (RTC) to food security, nutrition, and incomes in Malawi.
The project will do this by harnessing advances in RTC research and
development and scale them up through potato, sweetpotato, and cassava value
chains to meet the demand by farmers, consumers, processors, and traders in
Malawi. Within the 5-year project duration, at least 154,000 farming
households will adopt improved technologies and practices, and at least
500,000 consumers will benefit from nutritious RTC foods. In particular, RTC-
ACTION Malawi will result in significant increases in productivity and sales
revenues among at least 25,000 RTC smallholder farmers, and in improved diet
quality of over 80,000 women and 60,000 children under 5 years of age. The
project will also provide technical, capacity, and implementation support to
the national Root and Tuber Crops Development Trust (RTCDT) to coordinate
stakeholders for increased investments and continued innovation in RTC value
chains.

The selected candidates will enter, verify and clean data in the year 5
database of 9,000 OFSP Vine beneficiaries and 12,000 Care Group Households of
the RTC-ACTION Project.
> Ensure data is entered in the spreadsheet and verified in the databases
> Clean the data and manage any missing information
> Produce draft report

> These temporary positions are for a period of 1 month.
> The payment is a fixed and consolidated fee.
### Requirements
Qualifications/special skills
> Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, (Agronomy, Crop science, Seed science) or related sciences.
> Diploma in IT Systems support
> Diploma in Computing and information system
> 3 years of experience working as Data Entry Clerk.
