A company dealing in property services is inviting applications from suitably
qualified and experienced persons for the position of
Account Assistant (Blantyre.)
Candidates will be required to carry out all aspects of Finance,
Administration and related tasks.
Candidates should have the following
#### Qualifications and Requirements
1\. A minimum of Accounting Diploma or similar qualification.
2\. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in creditors/debtors section.
3\. Accounting software package experience.
4\. Must be computer literate with Excel and Word package skills.
5\. A member of ICAM in good standing.
#### Roles and Responsibilities
1\. Ability to prepare Management accounts.
2\. Receiving and capturing of creditor invoices.
3\. Requesting statements and invoices from suppliers, and reconcile.
4\. Processing invoice payment authorizations.
5\. Preparation of Bank Reconciliations
6\. Processing invoices into MRA system
7\. Sending MRA signed invoices to clients
8\. Following up and Collecting Customers Payments
9\. Compiling and sending weekly debtors collections schedule
10\. Dealing with client queries
11\. Assist in Filing Tax Returns – PAYE, VAT, FBT, WHT
12\. Any other duties as assigned by management from time to time
#### Attributes
1\. Hands-on experience and able to work without supervision.
2\. Ability to meet deadlines.
3\. Good organizational and administration skills.
4\. Disciplined, pro-active and flexible.
