#### WHO WE ARE
Nkhamenya Community Hospital is a Catholic Health Facility of Mzuzu Diocese.
It operates.under the Health Commission of the Diocese whose mandate is to
ensure that the health services that the Catholic Church provides in the
Diocese are accessible to the rural masses and the quality of care being
provided is in line with the professional standards and in the footsteps of
Jesus Christ the founder of the healing ministry.
#### POSITION PHARMACIST ASSISTANT –GRADE L (1 POST)
Duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the
following
•Checking drug stocks and making orders from the store;
•Cleaning of pharmacy floors, wiping benches and during stock containers;
•Pre-packaging drugs ready for dispensing;
•Receiving prescriptions from out and in-patient and checking dosage and
prescription particulars;
•Issuing required medicine to patients and giving instructions on how to use
and store;
•Ensure correct drug storage’
•Monitor drugs using HNIS tools and guidelines and report to the designated
supervisor;
•Management of pharmaceutical supplies for hospital wards for the departments;
The candidate must possess the following attributes
•Certificate in pharmacy and registered with the Pharmacy, Medicines and
Poison’s Board.
•1 to 2 years’ experience in the same position
•Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
#### REMUNERATION
Will be based upon the government grade and rating system.
