The bank therefore invites applications from suitably qualified individuals
for the following position
Human Resource Officer- 1 position, Blantyre
#### 1\. The position
Reporting to the Chief Human Capital Development Officer, the Human Resource
Officer will be responsible for providing the necessary service and support
for Human Resource solutions to ensure successful delivery of the Bank’s Human
Capital Strategy
#### 2\. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties
among others;
• Facilitating the recruitment and selection process.
• Providing advice to employees on specific HR policies, procedures and
interpreting the Bank’s Terms and Conditions of Service.
• Conducting transactional services such as leave administration, updating
employee records, administering exit interviews, completing documentation
around termination processes, loan processing and providing periodic reports
and statistics.
• Providing administrative support for the payroll process.
• Supporting Departments in the performance management process including
collating performance contracts and appraisals.
• Administering the in-house Medical Aid scheme and group life assurance
#### 3\. Business skills
• Good verbal and written common cation.
• Team-working
• Focused on achieving targets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Mature, highly disciplined and of undoubted integrity.
• Skills in Excel spreadsheets.
• High level of confidentiality required and attention to detail
#### 4\. Qualifications & experience
• Minimum of a degree in Human Resource Management, Social Science or Business
Administration.
• Five years relevant work experience in a busy organization
• Knowledge and experience in payroll management is an added advantage.
