## Job Description
· Support the expansion of HIV testing and PrEP availability in Malawi, the
HIV Prevention Program Associate will be responsible for the coordination and
support of non-healthcare setting HIV testing strategies outlined in ending
the HIV Epidemic Plan and for the coordination and support of PrEP technical
assistance efforts
· supporting country teams in the design, implementation and scale up of PrEp
innovative adolescent/youth and Key Population interventions and strengthening
integration of PrEp in the existing components in current programs
· In consultation with Coordinator HIV Care and Treatment DREAMS, and high-
risk groups like Key population monitor implementation of costed project work-
plans at facility, sub-county and county levels.
· Provide technical support for weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and
annual project performance reviews, assessing progress in an objective manner
in collaboration with the HIV technical lead.
· Provide technical support and mentorship in the integration of PrEP in the
HIV Care and Treatment service delivery component of the DREAMS and key
population project at facility, sub-county and county level.
· Provide technical support for integration of the project’s technical
approaches for the achievement of successful project implementation using
evidence informed, innovative and best practices.
· Work with M&E staff to design, implement a plan to track data/results
related to HIV prevention, care and treatment and PrEP. Monitor the roll out
of PrEP in the facilities and develop monitoring tools and training tools for
PrEp.
· Coordinate and provide targeted community outreach and HIV testing and
counseling and provide PrEP and PeP information and referrals
· Provide technical support in creating and strengthening linkages and
networks between facility and community activities ensuring there is seamless
implementation of activities leading to improved health outcomes at facility,
sub-county and county levels
· In consultation with Coordinator HIV Care and Treatment services support
preparation of monthly, quarterly and other reports as may be required and
submit these to the Coordinator HIV Care and Treatment Services in a timely
manner.
Position is for 5 year fixed term contract
