Job brief
We are looking for an innovative Inventory and Procurement Manager to manage
our Procurement and Inventory department. You will lead the purchasing process
from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide
guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. You will also be responsible
for updating all processes of inventory management, procurement in our farm
system. Will be a procurement and Inventory expert who will specialize in
implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services as well as a
highly efficient product inventory background. Ensuring quality control and
adhering to the company’s policies and procedures will be some of your main
priorities when carrying out this role.
Responsibilities
• Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
• Ensuring all purchases are bought at the most competitive prices, delivered
on time, and meeting agreed quality standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and
adjustments.
• Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for shipment.
• Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
• Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers.
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Confirm all delivery of goods and services.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term
saving on procurement costs.
• Overseeing and managing the system that track inventory and the supply of
goods.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, or
relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Data entry experience
• Solid knowledge of data analysis and inventory management software.
• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and
negotiation terms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Management and leadership skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize
tasks.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
