Nico Pension Services Limited, a leading Pension Administration company is
looking for qualified energetic and experienced candidates with a strong
passion for excellence to fill the following position
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate with be accountable
for receiving money from clients and issuing receipts, maintenance of petty
cash, bank reconciliation, and making deposits into designated bank accounts.
He/She will have the following as key result areas
• Ensuring that there is sufficient cash float at all times to meet petty cash
requirements
• Receiving money from clients and issuing receipts for every payment
• Depositing receipts into designated bank accounts
• Performing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Matching receipts for direct clients
• Maintaining sound relationships with customers both internal and external by
rendering timely assistance and addressing all inquiries
• Reconciling bank to the general ledger and cashbook monthly in readiness for
audit
Competencies, Qualifications, and Experience
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent in relevant field
• Two (2) years experience in Accounting or a similar or related environment
• Ability to plan his or her work on a daily or weekly basis and achieve basic
targets
• Clear verbal and written communication – inline with job requirements.
• Basic ability to analyse operating problems relevant to the job.
